As the water exits the system, a final filter removes particulates and bacteria to reach Type I water specifications.

The CLïR 5200 uses a dual wave length technology to reduce organics and sterilize bacteria at the same time. Certain applications like HPLC and LC, require ultrapure water with TOC levels less than 5 ppb. The water is typically used in the preparation of mobile phase preparation, creating blanks, and sample dilution. For trace metals analysis, ICP-OES/ICP-MS require the organic and ionic purity for their dilution and dissolution processes.

CLiR Ultrapure Water System

CLiR 5400 Ultrapure Lab Water System with UV Disinfection & Ultrafiltration

Designed specifically for genetics applications, the CLïR 5400 delivers 2.0 LPM of Type I, 18.2 Megohm water quality on demand. The water is purified using a staged purification process which includes high-purity ion exchange resins to remove dissolved minerals, ultraviolet light for bacteria sterilization and TOC reduction, and ultrafiltration for pyrogen removal and nuclease free water. As the water exits the system, a final filter removes particulates and bacteria to reach Type I water specifications.

The CLïR 5400 meets the challenges of delivering consistent ultra-pure water for critical research and testing in the life sciences. For applications like PCR, DNA Sequencing, Gel preparation, and general molecular biology, the need for RNasefree water becomes a necessity. Conventional methods use Diethyl pyrocarbonate (DEPC) treatment to inactivate RNase enzymes. With the use of the CLïR 5400, those processes are eliminated and contamination is reduced with an on-demand, ultrafiltration process.

Hydra Premium Purity DI System

Hydra Premium Purity DI System

The Hydra Premium Purity DI System is a pre-assembled cartridge system that provides deionized water using a staged filtration process. Water purification is provided using a 3-step process. Stage (1) removes particles greater than 5 micron, chlorine, and organics. Stages (2 & 3) are deionizers designed to remove dissolved organics and silica to trace levels. These premium grade resins are specially designed and processed to shed low levels of organics, adding no more than 10 ppb TOC. The Hydra Premium Purity DI series includes all cartridges and resistivity light for a total turnkey system. The system configuration uses mixed bed cartridges for applications requiring 10 MΩ–cm water quality.
