AmeriWater’s MediQA Heat Disinfect Reverse Osmosis can be combined with the Heatsan Loop Heat Disinfection System. When coupled with pre-treatment, this fully integrated water purification solution provides a complete heat disinfect system for 6 to 40 stations (Heat Disinfect RO and Heat Disinfect Distribution Loop).

Systems with single or dual pass membranes are available. With automated heat disinfection of RO membranes, MediQA units ensure that any potential for bacterial growth on membrane surfaces is minimized. User-friendly operation is managed through a full color touch screen display with comprehensive menu navigation – including full schematics. Password protected stored data includes active status indicators, alarm conditions and performance logs. The stored data can be downloaded to a remote PC or accessed through the touch screen.

Loop Heat Disinfect

The Heatsan from AmeriWater is an integrated heat disinfection system for the distribution loop with a significant advantage: the ability to adjust operation for each day of the week, heating intervals, holding times and disinfection temperatures. As a result, the Heatsan can save energy and staff time while providing up to 100 gallons of 185°F water for disinfection. Incorporating a PLC controller, the Heatsan is operated by a dual color touch screen displaying alarms, system status, tank level and disinfection temperatures plus a password-protected event log holding up to 12 months of data. The construction is rugged yet space-efficient featuring a stainless steel skid and an insulated stainless steel storage tank with sloping base fitted with three heating elements to minimize electrical consumption, level transmitter and temperature monitor.

Heat Disinfection System for Feed Water Hose – Centurion Plus

The Centurion Plus Heat Disinfection Device is an optional accessory designed to pair with a portable RO system in order to heat disinfect the Hemodialysis machine feed water hose. This section of hose is typically not included in the disinfection of the RO system or Hemodialysis machine. When paired with the Centurion (MROC), this compact unit provides a complete end to end heat disinfection system eliminating the need for chemicals.

The device is intended for use in hospitals, clinics, or dialysis centers to provide heat disinfection of the hose resulting in total viable microbial counts below 50 colony-forming units per milliliter.

Medipac RO

The Medipac is a complete, self-contained, water treatment system solution including Pre-Treatment, RO, and Post-Treatment. Capable of 2,880 gallons per day, it is built to the same high quality standards of our larger RO units, and includes many of the same features. The Medi-Port PB2 is a versatile, user friendly, portable Reverse Osmosis unit packed with features.  The PB2 utilizes a .05 micron final filter which eliminates most bacteria and endotoxins.  Easily serviceable control module.  The pump motor is fan cooled for long-life and is protected by a shield.  Alarm set-point with visual and audible alarm, and mute/re-alarm capability.  Water Quality Monitor that calculates and digitally displays feed water conductivity, product water conductivity, and percent rejection.  Rated at 53 decibels, the PB2 is extremely quiet. When in use, the unit makes about the same sound as a fluorescent light bulb.  With all its many features the PB2 unit is a great choice for acute, sub-acute, bedside, home, daily and nocturnal dialysis.  Divert-to-Drain, City Booster Pump, UV, and other external pre-treatment options are available.
