OZONE DISINFECTION SYSTEMS

Ozone disinfection is highly effective and outperforms chemical disinfection. Ozone disinfection systems offer reduced disinfection times and lower operating costs. Ozone has superior disinfection compare to chemicals, and microorganisms will not build up a tolerance to ozone. Also being one f the most effective technologies for biofilm mitigation, ozone is used in several manufacturing or process water applications.

Ozone will automatically revert to oxygen in three hours leaving no residual remains making it a safer option than traditional chemical disinfection.

Systems include a portable ozone generator that simply hooks up to your system when it is time to disinfect, to a dedicated ozone generator integrated into your water system.

UV DISINFECTION SYSTEMS

Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection is commonly used in water treatment across many different applications and is proven and recognized method of disinfection. Since UV disinfection is a nonchemical physical treatment, it does not add any color, taste, or flavor to the water, and does not change the chemistry.

Ultraviolet light at a wavelength of 254 nanometers destroys the DNA of microorganisms leaving them dead and prevents them from growing further. Bacteria, molds, algae, and other microorganisms are inactivated by UV disinfection. At a wavelength of 185 nanometers the UV provides total organic carbon (TOC) destruction.

A small footprint, low operational and maintenance costs, application-specific reactor design, and being environmentally friendly are just some of the advantages of UV disinfection.
